Style information

Collars

If you have a medium build, we recommend Medium (S2) or Moderate (S3).  Medium (S2) has shorter points and trends toward traditional.  Moderate (S3) has longer points and is more contemporary.  Wider spreads, such as Moderate (S3) or Wide (S4), will counterbalance a thin face or long neck.  Narrower spreads, such as Narrow (S1) or Medium (S2), are slimming for a broad face or short neck.

*Spread: This is an estimate of the spread.  It is not a measurement, and should be used only as a rough guideline.
**Back Band Height: Allow an additional +1/4" for the finished back band height measurement once the collar is folded.

Fronts

The center placket is a classic look that can be worn casual and for dress.  The French front provides a smooth, clean look and is ideal for the more formal dress shirt.

Backs

The plain back provides the cleanest, most tailored look.  Pleats allow for a fuller, more comfortable fit across the back.  The shoulder pleat is for dress and casual.  The box pleat is a more casual look typical with a Button Down collar.

Cuffs

The single button cuff is a versatile cuff option and classic favorite where the double button cuff offers a more contemporary look.  The French cuff is a more formal cuff that is folded back and then closed with cuff links, instead of buttons.

Pockets

The Plain and Hamilton style pockets are considered more formal pockets and work well with classic dress shirts.  Pleated pockets and those with flaps work best on casual shirts.
